Dagje keukenhof / A day at Keukenhof

Met het oog op het haken van heel veel leuke bloemetjes (iets wat ik heb geleerd tijdens de byClaire workshop), heb ik vandaag kleurinspiratie opgedaan in de Keukenhof. Supermooi het rose dat aan het uiteinde overgaat in wit aan het uiteinde van de blaadjes.

In order to crochet a lot of nice flowers (something I learned during the byClaire workshop) I gained some inspiration in the Dutch flower garden Keukenhof. I love the pink that turns into white on the outside of the tulip.

Naast veel buitenlandse toeristen (die zo aardig waren om wat foto's van ons gezinnetje te maken), heb ik ontzettend veel mooie bloemen en kleurencombinaties gezien. Geel met zalm, geel met rood en rose, knalrood, knalrose...

Apart from the many foreign tourists (who were so kind to make us some family pictures), I've seen a lot of beautiful flowers en color combinations. Yellow and salmon, yellow with red and pink, bright red, bright pink...

Het is zo grappig dat deze prachtige bloementuin om de hoek is, misschien 15 minten van ons huis, maar ik kan mij niet heugen dat ik er ooit ben geweest.

It´s so funny this beautiful garden is around the corner, maybe 15 minutes from our place. I cannot remember I've ever been here before. 

Samen met dochterlief op de foto tussen de hyacinten en narcissen. Ik voel me als een toerist in eigen land. #Lol

Ik ben helemaal weg van deze stoel! Hoe mooi en romantisch.

Aan het einde van de dag heb ik mijn witte vaasje opgepimpd met groene stippen. Ik kocht de vaas bij een kringloopwinkel (voor maar € 0,75, des te leuker)! Wat zelfgeplukte bloemen erin en de bonte boel op mijn tuintafel is weer compleet!

At the end of the day I pimped my little white vase with green dots. I bought the vase at a second hand shop (it was only € 0,75, the more fun). I added some self picked flowers in the vase and my outdoor table is lovely decorated again!
